About Us

Our Statement of Faith

What We Believe

These are the core truths we believe, drawn from the Word of God, that shape our life and worship together. We do not hold to these truths because they are written here, but because they are written in Scripture. They are not the rules of a club — they are the foundation of a family. We invite you to read them, to test them by the Bible, and to walk with us in the truth.

“Contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” — Jude 1:3

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

One God in Three Persons

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power, glory, and love.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

God the Father

We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, wisdom, and love. He hears and answers prayer, and He saves all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

John 4:24; 1 Peter 1:3; James 1:17

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return personally and visibly.

John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, gives new birth, indwells every believer, and empowers us to live a godly life and serve Christ. We believe the gifts of the Spirit are given for the building up of the Church.

John 16:8; Romans 8:9–11; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7

Humanity and Sin

We believe all people are created in the image of God, but because of sin, we are separated from Him and unable to save ourselves. Every person stands in need of God's mercy.

Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. When a person repents of sin and trusts in Jesus, he is forgiven, born again, and becomes a child of God.

Ephesians 2:8–9; John 1:12; Titus 3:5

The Church

We believe the Church is the living body of Christ, made up of all true believers everywhere. The local church gathers to worship God, learn His Word, encourage one another, and share the gospel with the world.

1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 4:11–16; Acts 2:42

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

We believe Jesus gave the Church two ordinances — baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is the outward sign of an inward faith, and the Lord's Supper is observed in remembrance of His death until He returns.

Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Christian Living

We believe every believer is called to grow in Christ, walk in love, serve others, and bear witness to Jesus in word and deed. The basis of our fellowship is the love of Christ, which is greater than our differences.

John 13:34–35; Galatians 5:22–23; 1 John 3:16–18

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ; the resurrection of the dead; the final judgment; eternal life with God for those who trust in Christ; and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.

Acts 1:11; John 5:28–29; Revelation 21:1–4

The Great Commission

We believe Jesus has commanded His Church to make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded.

Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8
